Farm

Our winery is managed by the family.
The passion for wine has its roots in a past of tradition and love for the land, the same passion that united my grandparents and which is now uniting my father Egidio and me.

Thanks to him and his work, we can now create something unique that our land, the Marche, will gently care for, a wine that comes from the indissoluble combination of territory and passion.

We are border winemakers

Our company is located on the border between the provinces of Fermo and Macerata.
Two different territories.
Different climatic zones that give different characteristics to each vineyard.

Its small size allows the company to implement a policy of research of a high quality product.
The goal is to improve the organoleptic characteristics through a mix of traditional instruments and advanced technologies that ensure maximum respect for the product typicality.

Now the company is projecting itself into the future, with investments in the development and research of new technologies that help us make work in the cellar easier, always with a fixed gaze on our past and our identity.

2017 was the year in which we gave shape to our projects of “sharing” our passion, we concluded the construction of the new cellar, a meeting point with all our customers.
A place where our land will be one with the cellar, where those who come to visit us can immerse themselves in the territory and experience the Bastianelli winery as we do, as a family.

Family

For us, family has always been a fundamental part of our company, we have always been farmers, with a great passion for wine. The same passion that already characterized the family at the time of my G-Grandfathers.

My grandfather was the proponent of the gear change, he was the first in our area to purchase a fixed combine harvester, and after him, my uncle Gianluca too, my father’s younger brother.

My father, Egidio, was the last one approaching agriculture, but he was the first renting some vineyards, initially to cultivate and sell the grapes to those who produced wine.

Mio padre, Egidio, è stato l’ultimo ad approciarsi all’agricoltura, ma il primo a prendere in affitto dei vigneti, inizialmente per coltivare e vendere l’uva a chi produceva vino.

The year 2011 was a turning point: after having realized the love my father had for wine, we found ourselves in the right situation to dedicate ourselves to the wine, without neglecting the other land, both owned and rented, which still cultivate…and that was the moment when Cantina Bastianelli  was officially founded.

This passion and love for our land is what I’m trying to also pass on to my two children, Edoardo and Ilaria. Although still very young, Edoardo is always in the fields, he has fun and he will learn what my grandfather and my father taught me, so that to carry on the work of the whole Bastianelli family.

We are a traditional family, where everyone helps everyone from my father to my uncles, right up to my cousin Alessandro and the family of my wife Pamela: a big family that loves to be together, turning this love into that family and traditional character that you will find in our wines, made to mirror our territory.
